She was a great lover of perfumes, but without a doubt, her favorite was always “First by Van Cleef and Arpels”

She was a woman of very strong character, very firm, even tough.

This perfume is a deeply personal tribute to one of the most iconic and beloved literary characters by Daniel: Cyrano de Bergerac. Inspired by the stories his father read to him as a child, Daniel Josier presents us with a fragrance that captures the essence of courage and sensitivity.

Cyrano represents the duality of a strong and brave man, capable of dueling with dozens of soldiers, and at the same time, a sensitive and passionate soul that expresses itself through poetry. Cyrano de Bergerac, the protagonist of the play written by Edmond Rostand, is a poet and swordsman known for his skill in combat and literary eloquence. Despite his unconventional appearance, Cyrano possesses a noble spirit and a brave heart. The play explores themes of unrequited love, honor and the internal struggle between appearance and true identity.

Cyrano envelops us in a bold and audacious opening, with an animalistic character that reflects the strength and courage of the protagonist. As the fragrance evolves, a rich and complex floral heart unfolds, revealing the most sentimental and poetic side of Cyrano.

Finally, the perfume succumbs to a powerful and comforting woody base, leaving a persistent and evocative trail, but never neglecting the raw essence that Cyrano de Bergerac had.

The tragic and heroic ending of Cyrano, where he reveals his eternal love and nobility, is reflected in the depth and richness of this creation.
